The FANUC A20B-8101-0430 is a power supply card and back-panel PCB for selected FANUC Series 0i-C and 0i Mate-C CNC basic units. It is the documented non-slot configuration, providing power conversion and board interconnection within the control assembly.

This is not a complete external CNC power supply or system main board. FANUC identifies A20B-8101-0440 as the different two-option-slot version, so the installed control structure must be checked before replacement.

Power Supply and Backplane Function

A20B-8101-0430 forms the powered rear section of the applicable CNC basic unit. The assembly receives 24VDC and supplies the low-voltage rails required by the main board and control electronics. Its backplane also connects the internal boards.

Non-Slot Configuration Compatibility

A20B-8101-0430 is the non-slot version. A20B-8101-0440 is documented for a two-slot Series 0i-C configuration and is not a direct substitute. A20B-8101-0180 belongs to an earlier control-unit architecture and is also different.

Confirm the complete A20B number and slash revision, A02B basic-unit model, CNC series, option-slot count, connectors, mounting layout and accompanying main board. Matching only the 0i-C family name is insufficient.

Testing and Installation Notes

REACO CNC checks the PCB, fuse, power components, connectors, 24V input path, regulated outputs and control-unit startup. No-power or unstable-startup symptoms can also originate from the external 24V supply, main board, shorted option board or wiring, so diagnose the complete system before replacement.

Back up CNC data where possible, isolate machine power and use electrostatic-discharge protection during installation.
