The 3000P specification represents 3,000 A-phase pulses per motor revolution. FANUC's conventional incremental design provides relative movement feedback for servo speed and position control, together with reference and motor-phase signals required by the compatible servo system.

Not a Serial A Pulse Coder

A860-0304-T113 is a 3000P incremental encoder, not Serial Pulse Coder A. Serial A uses a different operating principle and interface. Do not substitute A860-0340-T001, A290-0561-V569 or another serial encoder merely because the housing or motor application appears similar.
