The FANUC A90L-0001-0509 is a high-airflow 24VDC external radiator cooling fan motor for selected larger FANUC Alpha i power supply, servo and spindle amplifier modules. It cools the external heat-sink fins and differs from the A90L-0001-0511 internal fan.
Known manufacturer versions include Sanyo Denki 9WF1224H1D03 and NMB-MAT 4715KL-05W-B39. Both use an approximately 119 × 119 × 38mm frame. Current, signal lead and connector can vary, so confirm the original fan and drive model.

External Heat-Sink Cooling Function
A90L-0001-0509 forces air across the amplifier’s radiator fins. Blocked airflow, bearing wear or a stopped fan can increase temperature and contribute to fan or overheat alarms. Larger modules may use two fan motors.
Alpha i Module Compatibility
FANUC documentation lists this motor with A06B-6110-C604 fan arrangements in selected higher-capacity Alpha i power supply, servo and spindle modules. On specified units, only the fan motor is replaced. Confirm the A06B model, quantity, mounting, airflow direction, connector and cable length.
Testing and Installation Notes
REACO CNC checks the label, frame, blades, bearing noise, startup, running current, airflow and alarm lead as applicable. Isolate power and allow the DC bus to discharge before opening the amplifier. Install the fan in the original airflow direction and do not identify wires by color alone.
