Mitsubishi FCU6-HR450 MELDAS M64AS CNC Memory Cassette

The Mitsubishi FCU6-HR450 is a proprietary maintenance memory cassette for legacy MELDAS 60/60S CNC controls. Mitsubishi lists HR450 as a compatible maintenance cassette for M64AS and describes its function as backing up and restoring NC data. It is not a generic CF or SD card.

NC Backup and Restore Function

FCU6-HR450 is used during maintenance to preserve or restore data on a compatible CNC. Mitsubishi states that the cassette can back up ladder data, ladder messages and SRAM data as a batch. It supports control replacement, maintenance recovery and machine-data preservation.

Compatibility and Version Matching

Match the complete FCU6-HR450 code, cassette version, CNC model, control configuration and connector. Mitsubishi notes that HR4-series cassettes include separate SRAM and FROM versions with different functions, so the internal memory type must not be inferred without checking the physical label. HR410 is listed in the same M64AS maintenance group; HR451 and HR455 belong to other model groups and are not automatic substitutes.

Testing and Stored-Data Scope

Each cassette is checked on a compatible Mitsubishi CNC platform for recognition and accessible memory status, and its connector and housing are inspected before shipment. Original machine parameters, ladder files or customer-specific SRAM data are not included unless a loaded-data service is explicitly confirmed.
