The A16B-2202-0681 forms part of the spindle amplifier power stage and internal wiring system. It is different from the control PCB that handles spindle commands, feedback and alarm processing. Symptoms associated with the power section may include drive alarms, blown fuses, damaged power components or failure of the spindle amplifier to start.

Control Board and Module Compatibility

Depending on the SPM version, A16B-2202-0681 may operate with control boards such as A16B-2203-0331, A16B-2202-0434 or A16B-2203-0501. These control boards are associated with different amplifier generations and are not automatic substitutes for one another.

Replacement and Revision Checks

Match the actual A16B-2202-0681 nameplate first, then confirm the complete A06B spindle-module number, suffix such as #H500 or #H520, board revision, connectors, mounting points and surrounding control PCB. Do not substitute A16B-2202-0680 or A16B-2202-0682 based only on similar appearance.

Testing and Installation Notes
