FANUC A16B-2202-0682 is the power and wiring board used in selected FANUC Alpha SPM-11 spindle amplifier modules. It forms part of the amplifier power section and internal wiring system; it is not the separate spindle control PCB.

FANUC maintenance documentation lists A16B-2202-0682 in several CE-marked SPM-11 configurations, including A06B-6078-H111, A06B-6078-H211, A06B-6078-H311, A06B-6102-H111 and A06B-6102-H211. SPM-11 Power and Wiring Function

The A16B-2202-0682 carries power-stage and internal connection functions within compatible SPM-11 modules. Failure in this section may be associated with blown fuses, damaged power components, charging or DC-bus faults, spindle amplifier alarms, or failure of the module to start. System diagnosis should also include the control PCB, power supply and spindle motor.

Control PCB and Version Differences

The paired control hardware depends on the amplifier generation. Documented examples include A16B-2203-0331 in A06B-6078-H211, A16B-2202-0434 with A20B-2901-0851 in A06B-6078-H311, and A16B-2203-0501 in A06B-6102-H211. These boards are not automatic substitutes for one another.

Replacement and Revision Checks

Match the actual A16B-2202-0682 nameplate first. Then verify the complete A06B module number, suffix such as #H500 or #H520, CE configuration, PCB revision, connectors and mounting points. Non-CE SPM-11 versions may use A16B-2202-0472 instead, so appearance alone is not sufficient.

Testing and Installation Notes

REACO CNC checks the label, revision, connectors, fuses, power components, solder condition and spindle-amplifier operation where applicable. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel after isolating power and allowing the DC bus to discharge fully.
