A maximum speed of 4,000 min⁻¹ is specified only when suitable HRV control is used. Under conventional control, the specified maximum is 3,000 min⁻¹. Machine operation must remain within the limits of the original FANUC amplifier and CNC configuration.

B075 Configuration Identification

A06B-0031 identifies the β1/3000 motor family. In B075, “0” specifies a straight shaft without a brake and “75” specifies the βA32B absolute pulse coder. The base shaft is smooth and should not be described as keyed unless the complete motor suffix confirms a keyed modification.

βA32B Absolute Position Feedback

The βA32B provides absolute position feedback with 32,768 divisions per revolution. Its position-retention function requires the applicable backup battery in the CNC or servo amplifier. Battery condition and FANUC’s encoder-disconnection procedure should be checked before motor removal.

The similar A06B-0031-B077 uses βI32B incremental feedback. Absolute and incremental pulse coders should not be interchanged without verifying the CNC software, amplifier interface, cabling and motor parameters.

#7000 and Keyed-Shaft Versions

The base motor is also commonly listed as A06B-0031-B075#7000. FANUC specifies #0008 for a straight shaft with a key, and this version may also appear in the market as #7008. The keyed and smooth-shaft versions should be matched to the original coupling.
