FAPT Processing and Graphics Interface
FAPT is FANUC’s conversational automatic-programming environment for creating machining programs with guided input and graphic support. In a compatible SYSTEM 3 configuration, A20B-1000-0320 works with the master and graphics boards rather than independently. CNA and CNE provide board connections and power paths, while CNF connects additional hardware in the assembly.
Revision and System Compatibility
A20B-1000-0320/03B and A20B-1000-0320/09E should not be assumed interchangeable solely because the base number matches. Compare the revision, connector population, installed components, master PCB, graphics boards, FAPT option and machine-tool configuration. A20B-0009-0320 is a different DC servo board and is not a substitute.
Testing and Replacement Notes
REACO CNC checks the model and revision labels, connectors, components, solder condition, power rails, system communication, FAPT startup and graphics operation as applicable. Back up CNC programs, parameters and FAPT data before removal. Initialization or data restoration may be required after replacement.
