B077 Configuration Identification

FANUC’s motor designation identifies the A06B-0126 family as αC6/2000. In B077, the first digit identifies the standard tapered-shaft configuration without a brake, while “77” identifies the αI64 incremental feedback detector.

The αI64 is not an absolute pulse coder. An αA64 absolute-feedback motor should not be substituted unless the CNC, amplifier, cabling and machine parameters are confirmed for that detector type.

αC6/2000 and α6/2000 Are Different Models

Do not confuse the A06B-0126-B077 αC6/2000 with the A06B-0127-B077 α6/2000. Although both model names contain 6/2000, they belong to different FANUC motor families and have different specification numbers. Interchangeability must be verified from the original machine documentation.

#7000 and Sealed Suffix Versions

The base motor is also commonly indexed as A06B-0126-B077#7000. Special suffixes such as #7075 may identify a sealed or IP67 version. These protection ratings should not be applied automatically to an unsuffixed or #7000 motor.
