Motor and Feedback Function

The A06B-0372-B077 converts commands from a compatible FANUC servo amplifier into precise machine-axis movement. Its I64 incremental pulse coder returns motor position and speed information to the servo-control system.

Unlike an absolute pulse coder, the I64 does not provide the same retained absolute-position function after shutdown. Depending on the CNC and machine configuration, reference-position return may be required after power-up or after feedback-system maintenance.
