A16B-2203-0870 interfaces with the control section and IGBT power device to support spindle acceleration, speed regulation and braking. A damaged board may contribute to overcurrent, power-stage or spindle-output alarms, but the IGBT, control PCB, motor and cables must also be diagnosed.

Type A, Type B and Older Modules

The Type A and Type B αiSP22 modules use the same A16B-2203-0870 power PCB but different control PCBs. Do not assume compatibility with older A06B-6111-H022 or A06B-6112-H022 modules, which FANUC documents with A16B-2203-0620. Confirm the full A06B number, # suffix, PCB revision, connectors and feedback configuration.
