FANUC All Data Backup Guide | REACO CNC

FANUC systems offer an official All Data Backup function, allowing you to output the following data at once to a CF card or USB storage:

  • Text Data: Parameters and programs in text format
  • RAM Data
  • User Files: Files created by users, such as PMC ladder programs

Backup Steps (One-Click Backup)

1. Select MDL mode(by setting parameters)

  • PRM 0138#0=1 (add path number to the text file extension in multipath system)

Setting FANUC parameter 138 bit 0 to 1 for SRAM data output

  • PRM 0313#0=1 (enable NC data output function)

Setting FANUC parameter 313 bit 0 to 1 to enable full backup mode

  • PRM 0020=4 (CF card) or 17 (USB)

Setting FANUC parameter 20 bit 0 to 4 for CF card or 17 for USB backup device

2. Select EDIT mode and output data

  • System Options → All I/O → All Data → Output → Execute

3. After text data output is complete, the information bar prompts Power Off and Restart

4. Upon restart, the system automatically back up the package data and option information.

5. After the backup is completed, the following files will generally be generated on the CF card or USB:

TOOLOFST.TXT ALL-PROG.TXT CNCIDNUM.TXT CNC-PARA.TXT EXT_WKZ.TXT MACRO.TXT MAINTEMC.TXT MAINTENA.TXT MAINTINF.TXT OHIS_SIG.TXT OPRM_INF.000 OPRT_HIS.TXT PITCH.TXT PMC1_PRM.TXT SV_SP_ID.TXT SYS_ALM.TXT SYS-CONF.TXT RAM_BAK.001 PMC1.000

Other Backup Method

If you prefer not to modify parameters or not be affected by alarm issues, you can also perform parameter backup via the Boot interface.
