The A06B-0371-B076 receives controlled power from a compatible FANUC servo amplifier and converts it into precise rotary movement. Its pulse coder returns position and speed information to the servo-control system.

The A64 with super-capacitor configuration is an important part of this motor’s specification. It should not be treated as identical to a standard A64, I64 incremental or A1000 feedback configuration without checking the original CNC hardware, feedback cable and servo parameters.

B076 Configuration Clarification

Closely related Alpha 1/3000 models include:

Absolute-Position Backup Note

FANUC absolute pulse-coder systems use backup power to retain position information when the machine is switched off. Battery condition, encoder connection and the correct replacement procedure should be checked before removing the original motor.

An absolute-position alarm does not automatically confirm motor failure. The backup battery, feedback cable, connector and servo-amplifier interface should also be inspected.

Modification-Suffix Notice

This motor may appear with a complete number such as A06B-0371-B076#7000 or another factory modification suffix. The suffix may identify nameplate, approval, sealing, keyway or other production details.

When replacing the motor, compare the complete number printed on the original nameplate. Do not add #7000 to an unsuffixed motor or assume that every B076 variant has the same mechanical modification.
