Motion-Control Function

The A06B-0373-B077 receives commands from a compatible FANUC servo amplifier and produces accurately regulated movement for a machine axis. The integrated I64 incremental pulse coder supplies the position and speed feedback required by the servo-control loop.

Because the I64 is an incremental detector, it does not provide the same retained absolute-position function as an A64 or A1000 absolute pulse coder. The machine may require reference-position return after startup or feedback-system maintenance, depending on its CNC configuration.
