The FANUC A06B-6066-H006 is a legacy C-Series single-axis AC servo amplifier for FANUC CNC axes. It is a 200V/230V input-type unit that receives digital PWM commands from the CNC servo controller and supplies controlled power to one AC servo motor.

Some legacy listings compress its application as “5S-10S/3000-20S.” FANUC documentation identifies the actual motor group as 5S/3000, 10S/3000, 20S, 30S, 5L, 6L, 5T/3000 and 10T/2000. Compatibility still depends on the motor winding, feedback device, parameters and machine configuration.

C-Series Single-Axis Servo Control

The CNC controller performs the position, velocity and current calculations, then sends PWM commands to the A06B-6066-H006. The amplifier’s control and power sections convert those commands into three-phase motor current for accurate axis acceleration, positioning and stopping.

Motor, PCB and Discharge Compatibility

FANUC documents A20B-2900-0630 as the PWM controller and A20B-1004-0850 as the power controller for H006. Confirm PCB revisions, jumpers, connectors, servo parameters and the external discharge circuit. Do not substitute A06B-6066-H004, H008 or another 6066 unit because its housing appears similar.

Testing and Installation Notes

REACO CNC checks the label, housing, cooling, boards, connectors, fuses, power stage, PWM response, current feedback, ready signal and alarms as applicable. Back up servo parameters before replacement. Qualified personnel must isolate incoming power and confirm that the DC circuit has discharged before installation.
