External FANUC Optical Communication
The A66L-6001-0026 family is specified for external routing where protected optical construction is required. Depending on the CNC and installed interface hardware, this cable can carry FSSB servo communication, HSSB signals or optical I/O Link data. It is not a universal cable for every FANUC optical port.
Cable and Interface Compatibility
Confirm the complete part number, 7m length, optical connector keying, connected CNC and module, routing location and permitted bend radius. A66L-6001-0023 is generally used for protected internal connections, while A66L-6001-0049 covers selected longer external runs; neither should be substituted by appearance alone.
Handling and Installation Notes
Keep both optical end faces capped and clean. Do not pull the cable by its connectors, crush the jacket, exceed the permitted tension or form tight bends. Route it away from sharp edges and moving machine parts, then verify the applicable FSSB, HSSB or I/O Link communication after installation.
